The National Human Development Report is UNDP’s flagship research document. Undertaken every 3-4 years it examines a particular element of a country from the point of view of Human Development. Dr George Welton wrote this report, in consultation with UNDP experts, on a wide range of the the Georgian Government’s post-Rose Revolution Reforms. The report examines the reforms in:
Obviously, since the report was extremely broad-ranging it was not intended to be exhaustive in any particular area. However, it does provide a useful and timely overview of the Georgian Government’s successes and failures in these key areas.
The report was written in wide consultation with the government, international organisations and NGOs.
